Embrace Healing with Acupuncture
Acupuncture, rooted in ancient wisdom, offers a unique pathway to wellness by balancing the body’s energies. Through the precise placement of fine needles, it stimulates healing, reduces pain, and enhances mental clarity. Whether you’re navigating stress, chronic pain, or looking for a boost in energy, acupuncture provides a gentle, effective solution. Discover how this therapeutic technique can harmonize your body and mind, setting the stage for a healthier, more vibrant you.

A time-honored practice for holistic well-being

For more than 2,500 years, acupuncture has been a safe, effective, and drug free form of medical treatment. No matter the condition, acupuncture addresses the whole person and aims to restore balance and prevent disease. The World Health Organization has recommended 104 conditions that can benefit from Acupuncture. Acupuncture works by improving the body’s functions and promoting natural self-healing processes with the gentle insertion of very fine needles into specific acupuncture points that stimulate the distribution and movement of Qi, blood, and fluids along the meridians (channel pathways) of the body. If imbalances or deficiencies along these meridians are not addressed, pain and disease occur. Anyone can benefit from acupuncture treatment.

About Dr. Carol Nicolle

R.Ac Dr. TCM CHt

I was educated in Traditional Chinese Medicine in both Canada and China, graduating as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver. I also received my certification as an Internationally Registered Hypnotherapist and counsellor with the IMDHA in 2010.

I am a founding member of the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Group of British Columbia, as well as a previous board member of both the Qualified Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of BC and the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of BC. I was formerly a liaison to ICBC for the profession and a clinical instructor for Acupuncture in the Langara College Traditional Chinese Medicine program.

As such, I am trained in Acupuncture, Cupping, Hypnosis, Ear Candling, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, (Qi Gong) Chinese Energy Therapy, (Tui Na) Chinese Massage, and both Western and Chinese medical diagnosis and assessment, and am also a master Aromatherapist.

I have studied Shen Qi, so I have vast training in energetic healing modalities, and have also achieved a masters level in Heart Resonance Healing. I trained with a Shen Master from California in 2006 in the new technique of Esoteric Acupuncture, which uses higher consciousness to heal old life patterns and behaviors and moves the patient toward a holistic healthy and connected self view, as opposed to an illness view, as well as a Shen Master from Arizona in 1998 to initiate and develop intuitive healing and diagnosis capabilities.
